Mr. William D. “Bill” Littlejohn, age 85 of Robinson, Ill. passed away Friday February 28 at 7:20 p.m. at Heritage Health and Rehab (Cotillion Ridge) in Robinson following many months of failing health.
Born July 12, 1934 in Robinson, Bill was one of four sons of Adron and Hazel (McQuiston) Littlejohn. On Nov. 28, 1952 he married Joyce (Milam) and she preceded him in death March 26, 2007. On April 29, 2012 Bill married Betty (Stoltz) Berry and she survives.
Bill worked for the Ettlebrick Shoe Factory, (Robinson Manufacturing) for 25 years and Briggs Manufacturing (Pottery) for 18 years.
Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law, William Dean and Jinni Littlejohn of Newburgh, Ind.; Ronald Littlejohn of Robinson; Paul and Crystal Littlejohn of Robinson; daughter, Rebecca “Becky” Warren of Robinson; step-sons, Roger Lee Barry of Mattoon and John Rex Berry, of Belmont; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; a brother, Edward “Ed” Littlejohn of Robinson; sisters and brothers-in-law, Sally and Maurice Cheek of Ashville, N.C.; Martha and Jim Davenport of Sparta, Wisc.; Marie Gutzmer of Madison, Wisc.; Margaret and Bill Suhr of Montgomery, Ala.; Adrienne Howe of Sumpter of S.C.; Mary and Larry Johnson of Sumpter, S.C.; Marian and Randy Amundson of Cashton, Wisc. and Myrna and Donnie Quist of Necedah, Wisc.
Preceding him in death were his parents; wife, Joyce in 2007 and a son Michael Littlejohn; brothers, Robert “Bob” Littlejohn in 2012 and Warren Littlejohn in 2004.
Graveside funeral services were held March 3 at the Robinson New Cemetery with Pastor Dan Webb officiating.
