After falling behind early, the Lady Lions of Edwards County rallied hard to come back against Black Diamond Conference rival Hamilton County.

Losing the first set to the Foxes by a 17–25 margin, the ECHS unit came roaring back, netting a 25–22 win in game two to force a third and deciding set. However, Hamilton County was able to just barely fend off the charging Lions, as Edwards County fell in game three, 22–25.

Amaya Lashbrook served as the lynchpin of the Lion offense, racking up 24 assists on the night. Jenna Schnepper managed a team-best four aces, while Ava Greathouse produced 15 digs. Meredith Gillard led the team in kills with 16.
