The Edwards County Lions played hard, but fell just short of the win Tuesday, Feb. 18, at Red Hill High School.

Two Lions scored double digits and the Lions out-rebounded the Salukis, but it just wasn’t enough as the Lions lost 50–45.

Senior Camden Cowger was the high scorer of the game with 15 of the teams points. He also had 4 rebounds and 3 assists.

Sophomore Kaden Cowling added 10 points, going 6–8 at the stripe. He also had 13 rebounds and 2 assists. Junior Ty Schmittler had 9 points, shooting 50 percent from the stripe and had 9 rebounds.

Senior Andrew Rotramel and Senior Gus Beadles each had 4 points and Rotramel had 1 rebound while Beadles had 5 rebounds. Senior Brockton Greathouse added 3 points and 5 rebounds.
