I recently shared the idea of deciding what you will vote for: not who, not what party, but what issues. So, instead of telling you “who” I vote for, let me share with you “what” I will vote for:
I will vote for someone who stands for and will fight for “religious freedom;” who will go to bat for Christians and help protect our right to practice Christianity.
I will vote for someone who stands for and will fight for the “the right to life;” someone who will speak up about the rights of the unborn. Unless the mother’s “life” is in jeopardy, there should be zero consideration of taking the baby’s life-period.
I will vote for someone who will put conservative judges in place to help our country make and keep laws that are sound and aligns with the ultimate judge-God.
I will vote for someone who believes in and supports the traditional/Biblical definition of marriage-one man and one woman for life.
I will vote for someone who believes that jobs are better than handouts-that working (when able) is required to receive help. 2 Thessalonians 3:10 “Anyone who refuses to work should not eat.”
I will vote for someone who believes in and allows us to practice the First Amendment-free speech-right to hold and speak personal opinions.
I will vote for someone who believes in and allows us to practice the Second Amendment -right to protect oneself-right to bear arms.
I will vote for someone who believes in and practices the principle of a smaller government-reduce regulations that make it hard to succeed in bettering ourselves.
I will vote for someone who believes in and practices the principle of better trade deals with other countries-protect America from abuse and dishonest or unfair dealings.
I will vote for someone who believes in and practices the principle of a strong military-securing and keeping peace by preparation and power.
I will vote for someone who believes in and supports the pursuit of affordable health care and lowering the cost of prescription medicine.
I will vote for someone who believes in and supports the attempt to rid our society of crime, illicit drugs, human trafficking, holding criminals accountable for their crimes.
Create your own dozen or so-then search for a candidate who will represent you and your priorities.
