Sharon Kay Perry, 72, of Grayville, Ill., died Monday, Feb. 17 at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh, In. She was born July 15, 1947, in Olney, Ill., the daughter of James and Kathryn (Faris) Fiock. She was married to Larry Perry on Feb. 3, 1965, and he preceded her in death on Feb. 14, 2013.
Sharon was a beautician and enjoyed collecting many things including memorabilia from Coca Cola, Mickey Mouse, Wheaties cereal boxes. She enjoyed NASCAR racing and ceramics. She was an animal lover and enjoyed her four cats.
Survivors include son Shawn (Christie) Perry of Keensburg, Illinois; daughter Lori (Mike) Spurgeon of Albion, Ill.; half-brother Tom (Jackie) Fiock; Diana (Paul) Bartlow, all of Montezuma, Ind.; granddaughter Shelby Perry; great grandson Sam Perry; and her four cats.
She is preceded in death by her parents and husband.
Visitation and funeral are Friday, Feb. 21 at Cook Funeral Chapel in Grayville. Visitation is 10 a.m. to noon, with funeral at noon. Burial is in Oak Grove Cemetery in Grayville.
Memorials may be made to Pets At Risk and will be accepted at Cook Funeral Chapel in Grayville.
