The students in Sarah Dougherty's 8th grade science class are studying a unit on Heredity and Genetics. On Monday, Feb. 10, Gage Kennard, a Freshman at MCHS, brought the content to life by sharing how the information the students have been learning in class is applied in his family business. Gage has been involved in livestock with his family's farm his whole life. He taught about selective breeding and how it can influence profits in show stock and commercial stock. Gage is the son of Dainne Kennard and the late Brett Kennard of Kennard farms.
